Operating Expenditures

Operating expenses (electricity, advertising, supplies, etc.) are expenses or the allocation of assets as an expense incurred by the business to generate revenue. This results in a decrease in assets (cash, prepaid fees, etc.) or an increase in liabilities (accounts payable, provision, etc.).
